As a Media Designer (m/f/d) in prepress, you will technically implement our customers’ ideas for direct printing on corrugated board.

You will actively help shape this area of responsibility:

  • You will work closely with colleagues from the internal sales team, who will relay our customers’ requests and ideas to you.
  • You’ll review the technical data provided, edit it as needed using image editing software, and adjust it so that the print image can be perfectly positioned on packaging and boxes.
  • You’ll implement customer requests for changes in coordination with the internal sales team. Together, you’ll ensure first-class customer service.
  • You’ll contribute your knowledge and talents as follows:
  • You have successfully completed your training as a media designer or are about to graduate.
  • We value initial professional experience, but it’s not required. What’s more important to us is that you’re eager to learn about new things and the “somewhat different” field of prepress, and that you have a good technical
  • understanding.
  • You don’t lose your cool easily. You handle even last-minute requests reliably and in a structured manner.
  • Proficiency in IT (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, MS Office, and possibly ArtPro) and excellent German language skills round out your profile.

We are looking for you to join our Production department in Pleidelsheim (Greater Stuttgart area) as a

You will play an active role in shaping this area of responsibility:

  • Planning production capacity (machinery and personnel) and determining reliable delivery dates for our customers in coordination with our order management team
  • Planning, managing, and monitoring production processes in plate manufacturing
  • Ensuring an efficient flow of materials and on-time deliveries to our customers
  • Procuring production materials to ensure their timely availability for production
  • Organizing the maintenance and upkeep of our machines, equipment, and facilities
  • Operating, maintaining, and further developing the ABAS ERP system in use
  • Identifying optimization measures as part of continuous improvement processes and coordinating projects to implement these measures
  • Developing work standards and work plans and ensuring compliance with them
  • Determining key performance indicators for production efficiency management and reporting
  • Providing operational support to production during bottlenecks, particularly to extend plant and machine uptime

 

You can contribute with the following knowledge and skills:

  • Completed technical or business training, ideally with experience in the printing or packaging industry
  • Ideally, training as a technician in a printing or production-related field
  • Initial professional experience in production planning or control is a plus
  • Above-average proficiency in using ERP systems, machine software, and MS Office applications
  • A structured and resilient approach to work
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to assert oneself, particularly to meet our strong customer-focused approach
  • A pragmatic go-getter with “libero” qualities—flexible and hands-on, ready to step in wherever needed!

  • You are flexible, dedicated, and able to handle stress well.
  • You have a good command of written and spoken German and are proficient with computers.
